Our client is looking to hire two (2) Master or PHD level Psysoclogists who will be working with Adults. These can be full-time or part-time roles.
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological services within an interdisciplinary team to clients with various injuries, including acute pain, chronic pain, traumatic injuries, and brain injuries.
- Conduct psychological assessments, counseling sessions, and group interventions to support clients in returning to work.
- Mentor Psychology Interns and contribute to program development initiatives.
- Collaborate with peers to maintain best practices in rehabilitation psychology.
Experience and Skills:
- PhD in Psychology (Clinical, Counselling, Trauma).
- Experience Treating Trauma and doing formal Assessments on Adults, Trauma Psychology treatment programs, Psych injury screens, trauma processing and treatment plans, working within a collaborative environment with other disciplines or willingness to work in such an environment.
- Registration or eligibility with the College of Alberta Psychologists.
- Completion of an internship from an accredited facility.
- Preferably, 1,600 hours of supervised practice and completion of the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP’s).
- Experience in interdisciplinary rehabilitation settings, particularly in treating physical or chronic pain, is desirable.
- Research and consulting experience is an asset.
