Our client is seeking two experienced Finance Managers to join two well-established automotive dealership locations within the same market area. These opportunities are ideal for accomplished F&I professionals with experience in domestic OEM dealership environments who are passionate about leadership, performance, compliance, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
As a Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in dealership success by overseeing finance and insurance operations, supporting sales teams, mentoring staff, managing lender relationships, and ensuring a seamless, transparent, and compliant customer journey from deal structure to final delivery.
Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor sales and finance team members to enhance performance and professional development
- Consistently meet and exceed F&I sales targets through the presentation of extended warranties, protection packages, service contracts, credit insurance, and environmental products
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with banks, credit unions, and automotive lenders
- Maintain a thorough understanding of lender programs and deal structures
- Clearly and professionally explain financing and protection options to customers
- Work directly with lenders and financial institutions to secure approvals
- Prepare, review, and complete all documentation required for final vehicle delivery
- Track store-level and regional KPIs to support consistent performance and results
- Adhere to the highest standards of professional ethics, compliance, and customer respect
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of provincial finance regulations and credit reporting requirements
- Collaborate with sales, accounting, and dealership management teams
- Structure deals in accordance with lender programs, dealership policies, and OEM standards
- Accurately book out deals while ensuring full transparency and accuracy
- Conduct credit interviews, prepare and submit credit applications, and verify all information
- Maintain strict confidentiality of customer and financial data
- Analyze credit reports, identify conventional deals, and manage inactive files
- Effectively overcome customer objections throughout the finance process
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- 3–5 years of experience in the automotive industry with direct Finance Manager or F&I experience
- Previous experience leading, coaching, or mentoring a successful team
- Background working within domestic OEM dealership environments
- Strong understanding of automotive sales, finance, and dealership operations
- Established working relationships with banks, credit unions, and automotive lenders
- Proven ability to meet and exceed performance goals and KPIs
- Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Proficiency with Dealertrack and CDK, along with standard dealership and office software
- Strong financial acumen, including interest rates, commissions, percentages, and calculations
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
